Eric is a Los Angeles-based earned media strategist with over 25 years of experience leading media relations and shaping narratives for global brands, corporate executives, nonprofit leaders, and public-sector organizations.
He specializes in media pitching, crisis communications, and message strategy, and has built lasting relationships with major Southern California outlets including the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, and Orange County Register, as well as national outlets such as Bloomberg Businessweek, CNN, WIRED, NPR, and the Associated Press. At Mozaic, he focuses on statewide earned media efforts across government, economic development, environmental, workforce, and community-based initiatives.
Prior to joining Mozaic in 2024, Lindbom ran his own earned media consultancy, Lindbom Ltd, and served as Vice President of Media Services at Edelman, where he oversaw pitching strategy and secured national placements for clients such as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Sunkist, SeaWorld, and Experian. He also held senior roles at CarryOn Communications, where his work with the X PRIZE Foundation generated more than 500 national and international stories, and at Faiola Davis Public Relations, where he helped launch the Lara Croft, Tomb Raider character with major features in TIME, Newsweek, and Entertainment Weekly. His broader client work has included the California Film Commission and the James Irvine Foundation, and his earlier experience includes roles at National Satellite, Magnet Communications, Manning, Selvage & Lee, and Philips Electronics North America.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.
